i moved in yesterday.

driving here was an adventure, but we made it, and we moved everything in, and we're impressed. at least i'm impressed.

rather than describing how old and amazing my neighborhood and building are, i'll post pictures soon. but i'll have to borrow a camera because i don't have one and my mom wouldn't lend me hers. hopefully tomorrow night, or maybe tuesday, i'll be able to post them. suffice it to say tat you'll probably be really, really jealous. but i'm cool with that.

most of the people in my program are really cool and i've already made good friends with my roommate and some others here. today we walked around downtown and the north end, just exploring. we ate lunch at the oldest tavern in america (the bell-in-hand, named for the former town crier that owned it in 1795) and it was delicious.

tomorrow meg and lindsay arrive, then tuesday i start my internship at the international institute. this is going to be a great week.
